The 599 specific steps make this feel like folklore. That precision is what sells it.

Jane was a woman of integrity and humility; despite being married to a Military Police sergeant from Santa Catarina, she was a kind-hearted woman of great character. Known as the "Queen of Karate," she was a strong, experienced woman—even tougher than her husband. However, both her husband and his battalion were fed up with a major headache: a teenager named Maicon Noisl who constantly defaced walls with graffiti, and nothing seemed to stop him. The sergeant decided that only his wife would know what to do. Drawing on her wisdom, Jane devised a very clever punishment. One Saturday, she removed her shirt and trousers—revealing a green bikini—and made Maicon climb the city's tallest tower (599 steps) with her sitting on his back. After the ordeal, Maicon’s back hurt so much that he learned his lesson and began to behave, and Jane was awarded a medal by the Military Police. The End.

Jane removed her shirt and trousers and climbed 599 steps with Maicon on her back. The commitment to the bit here is what sells it. I bet you already knew this had to get exactly this absurd for the punishment to land. The 599 specific steps make it feel like folklore.

Jane's decision to make Maicon climb with her on his back is wild.
