Elias getting back a forgotten birthday and his mother laughing, out of a jar with no name on it, reminds me of how a smell can do that, one second you are somewhere else entirely and then it's gone. I bet the stranger comes back to that station. A lost and found at the end of the line is a good home for more of these. Thanks for sharing it!
