Watercolor Body

I can feel my bones
As I touch the transparent skin
My eye bags are quite large
Not as big as my desires
Sometimes I feel like heaven
Suddenly it becomes dark
My everything looks dismissed
How am I starting to feel the breeze?
I know I am not young
But I feel like a child
Who only desires to cry
While everything else stays behind
I have seen my body
How pale it looks like
How small it has become
But there is color in it,
And it's all because of my love

PermalinkWelcome, Lizzy! The title made the first stanza click for me: skin you can see through, bones showing under it, that is how watercolor behaves, each layer letting the one beneath show. My guess is you paint, or grew up watching someone who did. Glad this was your first one here :)
