what-ifs ringing, are they loud in your head or more like background static?
Sometimes I wonder...
I have thoughts that I can't just seem to stop for my own good. I wake up every day to struggle between the carols of what-ifs ringing in my head.

I have thoughts that I can't just seem to stop for my own good.
I wake up every day to struggle between the carols of what-ifs ringing in my head.
Sometimes I feel dystopian even, like a touch of reality brings me back to a life , I doubt is even mine.
Everything has unfolded as I predicted it to be in my head already. But in the moment I thought of it, it just sounded like a deep-buried fragment of my conscience that I wasn't yet ready to explore.

Permalinkwhen you say everything has unfolded as you predicted, do you mean things actually happen the way you thought, or they feel like they do even when they don't?

Permalinkdo you ever get a moment where the what-ifs stop, or is it like constant background noise all day?
-
Permalinkwhat does it mean when you say the what-ifs ring like carols? are they actually singing or is that the feeling when you wake up?
