I brought my light, and you rejected it.
I brought my love, and what did you give me in return?
I found you in the infinite ocean of your dark eyes.
I pulled you out, and in the end, I drowned.
I watched your face from afar as I drifted at sea.
The cloudy sky overcame me,
and the dark rain upon your face startled me.
Like light reflected on water,
the light I saw was nothing but a reflection of what had already passed.
The thunder of your words echoes in my mind,
but I only see the lightning of your emotions.
The rain still falls,
the water still flows,
the reflection still shines,
the thunder still echoes...
And finally, the last lightning of a storm
ceases to shine.
Just as the rain destroys,
it also rebuilds,
and I move on,
carrying your laments in my shadow,
which I once believed to be love poetry.
