How did Your Highness awaken this morning? Radiant... or merely veiled by the ancient tragedy of existing? I have always suspected that true beauty is not born of perfection, but of the strange courage to open one's eyes and, in spite of everything, continue illuminating the world.

I imagine the sun hesitating before breaking the horizon, like an ageing king who, for the first time, fears his own throne. Perhaps it sought permission to rise above your head, not out of reverence for the heavens, but because it recognised that there are faces before which even light appears to be an imperfect imitation.

How curious... we spend our lives believing that dawn is what rescues mankind, when, sometimes, a single presence is enough to justify the existence of morning.

the morning light hesitating, is that about shyness, or about respect, or something else entirely?

is the 'you' in this poem someone specific or is it like, a question you're asking every morning about who you're capable of being?

three images: the sun hesitating, the ageing king fearing his throne, a face that makes light look incomplete. that's all i remember about this and it's exactly enough.

I don't know where I go when I leave the moment I'm living. My body keeps moving forward, but my mind disappears somewhere else. I carry other people's pain, overthink every little thing, and forget to care for myself. Maybe I'm not tired of life. Maybe I'm just tired of carrying everything I feel.

  • THE CHANGED MIND

We think, we decide, we understand, we rethink, we change our minds. We regret. The pattern goes the same. And time flies; our trust breaks, we get hurt, and we stop trusting our gut feelings; we lose confidence. After doing the same, we get two results: first, we learn & become strong, and gain experience & second, we get broken, and we develop trust issues.
