do you think it was actually the sleep deprivation, or would this have hit you anyway at some point
How are we conscious?
I had a daunting realization that hits me when I was in the middle of something. And why understanding metacognitive could easily break the perspective of your own. (this post is me just dumping my random thought here... because why not)

Do you ever noticed, you are conscious?
One second ago i was watching a youtube video, and now i suddenly regain consciousness and realized Im in a human body looking at my screen in a sitting position. Weird to think about it and it feels uncanny to noticed it, now Im scared with how the human mind works and now Im meta thinking my thoughts and my own body, asking "How did i get here?", "Why am i now aware that Im in a human body?", "Why am i aware that i have limbs and currently typing this right now?".
Looking back at it, i've been feeling really odd, overly alert and aware. What is this called...? Its like sonder but it only happens to me, i realized that Im confounded and utterly disturbed that i could be so complex and indescribable cognitively..... or maybe Im just sleep deprived..., idk.

PermalinkQue reflexão forte! É exatamente assim: a consciência bate quando menos esperamos, e aprender a olhar para o que pensamos muda tudo de verdade. Obrigado por compartilhar esse momento tão sincero! ✨

PermalinkHoly cow, this happens to me too, and it just makes me disoriented after. I kinda hate it, but being aware is good, even when it's frustrating.

PermalinkAwareness isn't knowledge. It's a mirror that shows you the mechanism but never touches the lever. You see exactly how you lie to yourself. And then you do it again, knowingly.

PermalinkThe question is right . But answer is much simpler we are already conciously aware even if we think we are not. Every single thing we perform or we do is in under the power of Consciousness even those who think they are not conciously aware. Think it like this without Consciousness you cannot even eat. Because who would be there to eat ?

Permalinkhow long did you stay in that super aware state? or is it still happening when you're going through your day

Some thoughts linger long after the noise fades. The ones that matter most often refuse to fit into words, leaving silence to carry what language never could. A reflection on that quiet space between feeling and expression.

What was the Question
When a complex question arrives in any subject, we feel so happy—genuinely happy—that finally we solved it. If nobody is there, we call someone to share it with so that it multiplies the happiness of our achievement. This is absolutely understandable and acceptable. In schools/colleges, this type of person is known as a bright student. In life, known as a wise person or a life coach. But what about the person who made this complex problem for us to solve? What do we call that p

Should we stop gatekeeping who counts as a real Christian?
Something occurred to me today. For centuries, especially in the English-speaking world, Catholics were often portrayed as superstitious, anti-intellectual, hostile to freedom, and blindly obedient to authority. Some of that came from real conflicts. Some of it came from centuries of Protestant polemics and what historians call the Black Legend. Either way, the image became deeply embedded in Western culture.
