When a complex question arrives in any subject, we feel so happy—genuinely happy—that finally we solved it. If nobody is there, we call someone to share it with so that it multiplies the happiness of our achievement. This is absolutely understandable and acceptable. When a complex question arrives in any subject, we feel so happy—genuinely happy—that finally we solved it. If nobody is there, we call someone to share it with so that it multiplies the happiness of our achievement. This is absolutely understandable and acceptable.

In schools or colleges, this type of person is known as a bright student. In life, the person is known as a wise person or a life coach.

But what about the person who made this complex problem for us to solve? What do we call that person? Is there a bad intention behind it if it is not solved?

    If I'm taking the term "bright student" at face value, oftentimes, the question is posed in order to encourage them to apply their mind and keep them mentally stimulated, like why we have exams and tests and such. The one posing the question, in this case, the teacher, is doing their job and wants the student to learn. Questions are either for the questioners or the questioned to learn, unless the one asking is mocking you or something.
