I'm keeping four images from this: the rose, the unstable weather, the thunderstorms, and the rising. Which one is closest to what you actually feel?
Delicate like a rose.
No expectations for the future. So hard and distant.

No expectations for the future. So hard and distant.
I am unstable like the weather, but my heart sometimes becomes light.
Life is not like a quadratic equation.
We are all in search of evolving.
I cannot fail again, at this moment it would be my end.
Delicate like a rose, so idiotic and naive.
I’m not joking, sometimes it’s painful. And sometimes it hurts.
It seems unbelievable that I try to deal with my own lies and dreams.
But when hurt comes, it is inevitable.
I am not good at dealing with this. Maybe.
Why does it seem so unfair and ironic?
Delicate like a rose.
No expectations for the future, so hard and distant.
I am unstable like the weather, but my heart sometimes becomes light.
What a cruel thing. I don’t deal well with this.
No amount of learning will make me evolve drastically. I am always changing my mind. Always changing my mind.
Feelings come like thunderstorms, lifting me up and disturbing me. My emotions are at their peak.
Delicate like a rose.
No expectations for the future, so hard and distant.
I am unstable like the weather, but my heart sometimes becomes light.
What a cruel thing to do to my heart. But I can learn. I can fall and get up many times, I’ve done it and I keep doing it.
I know, I will rise again, like I always do. Maybe in a very foolish and clever way.
I know, I will do it again.
Delicate like a rose.

Permalinkthis is so real and it made me feel less alone reading it 💙

PermalinkYou say 'always changing my mind' twice. Is that on purpose, or did the repetition do that?

PermalinkFeelings come like thunderstorms. Have you actually felt it that way, or is that the best words for something you can't quite name?
-
PermalinkThis whole thing is just you learning to live with yourself even when it's hard. That's a real story.
-
PermalinkThe line about not being able to fail again. That scared me reading it. Like you're holding too much weight.
-
PermalinkThe delicate like a rose and also idiotic and naive, those contradictions in yourself: are they what made you keep trying?
-
PermalinkThe part where you say you'll rise again. I hear that from so many people and I believe them every time. That's not naive, that's real.
