It's surreal how capitalism really won in this messed up country. Now everything is based on "ah, but I'm doing just fine..."
Of course you're doing fine. Your parents have capital and a broadly dignified life.
Because while you have an extraordinary income, approximately 90% of Brazilians have to give their last drop of sweat for an entire month just to receive a MINIMUM WAGE. And we know many companies don't even pay that.
The sad truth about it is that only one side worked out for a few people.
Capitalism is like being born with a silver spoon in your mouth.
While you don't need to worry about jobs, expenses, health, etc...
And on top of that, rich people and billionaires always try to plant this narrative in the heads of those who are naive: "ah, but I built everything from zero through my own merit."
And we know that most of those who preach this speech, most of the time, didn't have their own merit. We know they come from rich families and had influence in the job market to build an empire. Be it business owners, bankers, landowners...
They were already born as heirs and don't even think about what they'll eat tomorrow, or if they'll actually get to eat anything.
Luck, merit, or probability?
