Rejoicing in sin sounds like a bent version of the Exsultet, the Easter Vigil hymn with the happy fault, the sin worth it because of what comes after.
Here the sin stays and nothing comes after, the heavens just leave. My guess is that flip is on purpose, and it turns the sacrifice line into an accusation.
