Cookie Policy
Version: v1.1 (Effective from: June 5, 2026)
What changed in this version
Expanded the cookie inventory to match how the Services actually work — added the remember-me and theme preference cookies and our use of browser storage — described the analytics and advertising cookies set through Google, and explained your consent choices and how to change or withdraw them at any time from Cookie settings.
Seavien, Inc. (“Seavien”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies to provide, secure, and improve our Services. This Cookie Policy explains what these technologies are, how and why we use them, and the choices you have.
What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser. They help websites remember information about your visit, such as your session information. We also use related browser storage technologies, such as localStorage and sessionStorage, which let the Services remember information between and during visits. In this policy, “cookies” refers to cookies and these similar technologies together.
The Categories We Use
We group these technologies into three categories:
- Essential: required to run the Services and keep your account secure. These are always active and cannot be turned off, because the Services would not work without them.
- Analytics: help us understand how the Services are used so we can improve them. These run only with your consent where consent is required.
- Advertising: help us measure and improve our marketing. These run only with your consent where consent is required.
What Cookies and Storage Does Seavien Use?
Essential
- JSESSIONID: necessary for the operation of our Services. It stores a unique session identifier to manage your session while you are logged in. It is set when you access our Services and is deleted when you log out or close your browser.
- remember-me: keeps you signed in across visits if you choose to stay logged in, so you do not have to sign in every time. It is removed when you log out, and otherwise expires after a limited period.
- Security cookies: protect forms and requests against cross-site attacks.
Preferences
- theme_preference: remembers your light or dark display choice so the Services look the way you set them. This preference is also stored in your browser using localStorage.
- localStorage and sessionStorage: store small pieces of information, such as your display preference and short-lived navigation state, to make the Services work smoothly.
Analytics and Advertising (used only with your consent where required)
- When enabled, we use Google services — Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and Google Ads — to understand how the Services are used and to measure and improve our marketing. These tools may set their own cookies and process information through Google.
- In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, these analytics and advertising cookies are off by default and are only used after you accept them. Elsewhere, they may be used unless you opt out using the controls described below.
Your Consent and Choices
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we show a consent banner the first time you visit, and we do not use analytics or advertising cookies until you accept them. You can accept all, reject all, or choose by category — rejecting is as easy as accepting, and essential cookies always remain on because the Services need them.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in our website footer. Outside the regions listed above, you can use the same “Cookie settings” control to opt out of analytics and advertising cookies.
Google as a Processor
When analytics or advertising tools are enabled, Google acts as a processor that handles information on our behalf to provide measurement and advertising services. You can learn more at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and in the Google Privacy Policy.
Managing Cookies in Your Browser
You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking essential cookies may prevent you from signing in or using parts of the Services. To learn more about managing cookies in your browser, please refer to the following resources:
Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
