Child Safety Standards

Seavien, Inc. runs Seavien at www.seavien.com and the Seavien app for Android. These are the standards we hold every part of Seavien to when it comes to the safety of children.

We prohibit child sexual abuse and exploitation

Seavien prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in every form. None of the following is ever allowed anywhere on Seavien:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), in any format, including links to it.
  • Sexualizing a minor in any medium, including photographs, drawings, edited images, computer generated or AI generated imagery, audio and text.
  • Grooming, sextortion, or any attempt to solicit a minor for sexual purposes.
  • Trafficking of a minor, or any offer, sale or advertisement of a minor for sexual purposes.
  • Promoting, encouraging, requesting, or providing access to any of the above.

There are no exceptions to this and no warnings before we act. Fiction, art, satire and parody do not make it acceptable.

Seavien is for people 13 and over

You must be 13 or older to create an account, and Seavien is not directed to children under 13. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 13, we close it. Members aged 13 to 17 can only receive direct messages from accounts they follow.

How to report child sexual abuse and exploitation

If you see something on Seavien that puts a child at risk, report it. You do not need an account to reach us, and you should never save or forward the material yourself.

  1. In the app or on the website, use the report control on any post, thought, comment or profile, and choose “Child sexual abuse or exploitation”.
  2. Or write to our child safety contact below. Send a link to the content or the profile, and do not attach the material itself.
  3. If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services or law enforcement first.

What we do when we find it

We remove the content, permanently disable the account behind it, and preserve the evidence so it can be given to the authorities.

We report apparent child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), and to local authorities where the law requires it.

We comply with the child safety laws that apply where we operate, and we review these standards regularly.
