Do you feel differently about medical school now, or does it all get tangled up together?

I wanted to have everything I longed for. I think I even felt God through these dreams. I'd like to ask Him: hey, hey, can you hear me? Can I still have everything I long for, even the one I love?

Sometimes the afternoons are hot. It would be ironic to say that my life is as fragile as rosemary and as fragrant as vanilla. I think I am nothing without the person I love.

We were young, in medical school. Hey, hey? Can you still hear me? We can go back to studying anatomy together and spend sleepless nights enjoying the best of the stars.

I feel that, even dreaming, I am nothing without you. I could try, but I feel hopeless. You were here every time. You'd come in through my window, grab me like a voracious crocodile. I liked the feeling.

Say I'm yours, and I'll say I'll love you forever.

We always swim in a deep lake. Every time you came towards me, all imposing like a hunting crocodile. He clung to me like a voracious crocodile. I liked the feeling.

Say I'm yours, and I'll say I'll love you forever. You're in another world, doing who knows what, but I'm still waiting for you.

Say I'm yours, and I'll say I'll love you forever.

Young enough to make mistakes.

I lean toward reading this as less about the other person and more about what you needed from them.

The piece reads like you're trying to negotiate with something you can't actually negotiate with. That's the realness of it.

That repetition gets under your skin. 'Say I'm yours' over and over like a prayer.

I felt this. The medical school part especially, places hold people.

The crocodile imagery for the person you're writing about, was that intentional or did it just come out that way?

  • Patient as a tiger.

I am far from my goals, even though I try to achieve them. I am like a climber at the foot of Mount Everest. I need to be patient, as patient as a tiger stalking its prey. I need to be as patient as planet Earth has been for billions of years. I may fall along the way, but I will always get back up. I am like a climber at the foot of Mount Everest. Summer rolled over the old house by the forest like a hot breath. Aneta had come only for the weekend — supposedly to help clean out the attic. Karel, the fifty-five-year-old neighbor, had known her…

  • Hypocrite.

You're alone, for obvious reasons. Too young and incredibly hypocritical, you act like the world is going to end today. That means nothing to me. Tell me, tell me what's going on in your head. Yes, you're young, rebellious, and unstable; your emotions are like a hurricane. Tell me, tell me what's going on in your head. Come on, tell me, I can help you. Come on, stop being immature and hypocritical. You weren't born for this. Hypocrite - Judson Kaique. 07/30/2026

  • Blue velvet.

He wore velvet, blue like the Pacific Ocean. Dark blue like the Mediterranean Sea. I watched him from afar. My heart burned for him, but when he left, the ocean entered a deep storm. He wore velvet, blue like the Pacific Ocean. I could still tell: there are tears streaming down his face. Blue velvet, like the Pacific Ocean, and an overwhelming emotional instability. I could still tell: there are tears streaming down that velvet. Blue velvet. Judson Kaique 27-07-2026

  • Club of souls

The music is playing on its own, echoes like Queen's "Love Of My Life." Love is never enough. I lie alone in the twilight of the night. From July to December, will you still want me? Our relationship seems dead, I tried to be strong while enduring this. Will you still be mine? We're in a lonely club, would you still be mine? I felt you were too kind and manipulative. Take advantage of me, so I return to the shadows. "Love will never last forever, it's fleeting like climate change" - you
