Lesley Sue Goldstein (New York, May 2, 1946 – February 16, 2015), known professionally as Lesley Gore, was an American singer, songwriter, actress, and activist. In 1963, at the age of sixteen, Gore released the pop hit "It's My Party," which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
