Yellow like the coat of the jaguar in the middle of the Pantanal.
Bravery on the face, resilience in the body.
Green like the parrot streaking across the Amazon sky.
Blue like our rivers intertwined like veins in our hearts, always meeting.
Freedom that reflects, sovereignty that remains.
We are giants by our own nature.
To prevail and prosper is our path.
Patriotic is our land, democracy is our forest,
resistance is our people,
free as the fauna that reigns in our biomes.

PermalinkDemocracy as the forest is the one I keep turning over. Everything else here moves, the jaguar, the parrot, the rivers, and the forest just stands there. Feels like that's the point, it's the ground the rest runs on.
