I got tears to tell

Tears to count

Tears to keep

And to share.

Histories to writhe

And some to sing

A lot of things

To do and to think

I got dreams to chase

To lose

To keep

And make anew.

I got words to break

And words to mend

Stories with no

Proper end.

I got scars to name

And wounds to heal

Things I never said

But still can feel.

I got tears to tell

Tears to count

Tears to keep

And to share.
