Finding this place through a Google search and then using your first post to say you hide who you are at college takes nerve. Latin and faith are both older than any college crowd. In a year you will probably know the few people there who care about them too, and I hope some of them end up reading here. Thanks for writing it!
Just a little vent✨

Well, let's start at the beginning, I don't know how to start writing since I'm new here. I was searching on Google for sites to write and I found this one. I don't even know if anyone will read this, maybe it's foolish of me to write this here, but I need to write it somehow.
I'm a student of Letters, I study Latin and I feel completely lost in College. I study Catholicism and it's so hard to find Catholic people in my college or anyone who believes in God. I feel like college is a den of drugs and sex and anyone who doesn't behave like that is wrong. I feel like I have to hide who I am and my virtues so I don't suffer reprisals. Maybe I'm just too innocent, maybe I'm too childish for my age (20 years old), maybe I'm too silly and maybe I'm being stupid to write this here instead of simply storing my thoughts, but I just wanted to talk a little about what I feel.
If anyone reads this (which I think is unlikely), I thank you for reading it and may God bless you.

PermalinkYou called yourself innocent, childish, silly and stupid inside one paragraph. Wanting one friend at college who shares your faith sounds like the most ordinary thing a 20 year old could want.

PermalinkSomeone read it, and I liked that you blessed whoever did anyway. Latin plus Letters at 20 sounds like you picked the hard road on purpose.
