okay but how does the ginga translate to actual fighting? is this sport-specific or does it carry?

Only 14 days of capoeira and I've already developed my best moves: cartwheel without hands, cartwheel with hands, pirouette, swallow dive, defense, sweep, and kick combinations. He asked for a rematch, and was defeated again.

if your teacher's asking for rematches at 14 days, either you're learning from video or he wasn't testing you hard.

you've got the cartwheel-kicks, the swallow dive footwork, that's a whole weapon set in two weeks 🔥

can you take him down yet or is the ginga purely standing? asking for reasons.

that's a nice achievement. also, patience teaches more than speed. just something to sit with.

fourteen days and instructor-level already? were you training multiple hours daily or just naturally wired different?

what specifically won those matches for you though? the footwork, catching him on a combination, or...?

hold on, you asked your teacher for a rematch or he asked you? because if he asked twice i've got questions 🤔
