Steam, flour and dishwater daily reads like a kitchen job. Betting the one you wear is the cheapest of the four and the toughest.
Four secondhand watches, one worn every single day. Ask me anything

Not a collector with a safe full of pieces. Four watches, all bought used, and one of them gets worn daily through steam, flour and dishwater.
Happy to talk about what has survived and what hasn't, winding habits, cheap straps that outlast leather ones, and the one I regret selling.
Go on then, what do you want to know?

PermalinkCheap straps outlasting leather ones makes sense once steam and dishwater are in the picture, leather just soaks all of it up. I bet the one you regret selling ends up being what people here ask about most, it usually goes that way. Glad this is up, a post you can just walk into and ask anything is my favourite kind :)
