Does Your Concert Seat Matter?

This July 4th, I grabbed the absolute cheapest ticket for Ed Sheeran’s concert, and walked away shocked by how perfect the whole night turned out. It felt nothing like last year, when I bought the priciest front-row pass only to spend the entire night craning my neck, staring at the back of a stranger’s head instead of the stage. I’ve got some videos from both nights — which one do you think you’d vibe with more?

Delete this post, don't let rich people find out they're getting scammed :) . But agree, in Spain I used to go to lots of rock concerts and usually the cheapest spots had to rockiest people and I had a blast in them

Was it the actual seat position or more the whole vibe, like crowd energy or being able to see things differently from back there?

Always figured the pricier the seat the better the experience, but it sounds like you found the opposite. Kind of changes things.

Did that cheap seat surprise change how you think about picking seats for future shows, or was it more just a fun discovery?

Staring at the back of a stranger's head the entire time hits way too real.

  • Patient as a tiger.

I am far from my goals, even though I try to achieve them. I am like a climber at the foot of Mount Everest. I need to be patient, as patient as a tiger stalking its prey. I need to be as patient as planet Earth has been for billions of years. I may fall along the way, but I will always get back up. I am like a climber at the foot of Mount Everest. • AI Knows Your Work Better Than Your HR Department Does. That Should Terrify Everyone.

AI already tracks your work patterns better than your HR department does, yet most HR teams still run on spreadsheets and outdated policies. The trust gap between employees and HR makes AI adoption even harder, because most tools are built for employers, not employees. The smarter approach is flipping the model — giving employees direct access to AI-powered career tools, compliance calculators, and resume builders first, so trust and adoption follow naturally.
