What is your spiritual goal?
Sit down, relax, and remove all kinds of noise—from hearing anything unwanted. Make sure to do this in a quiet place alone with no disturbances at all. First, try to look within and ask: what is it that you want to achieve? Is it wealth? Is it health? Is it being able to fulfill your desires? Or spiritual enlightenment? Or achieving the state of oneness?
If health and wealth are your goals, then sorry to say this, but spirituality isn't for you. Then what about yoga? See, yoga is a way to purify you. It is not meant for your physical body alone; rather, it is to prepare you so you can achieve your spiritual goal. For example, if your goal is Kundalini, then yoga poses will help your body become strong—not for health purposes, but so that you can contain the energy of Kundalini. Here, your goal is the activation of Kundalini. This is why for those who think spirituality makes you beautiful or makes your life easy: sorry, you are heading in the wrong direction, and if you still believe that, nobody can help you.
Now, how do you choose your spiritual goal? It is as simple as I said: sit down and relax without any disturbances. Try to think about what you want to achieve. For this, you need to have the right understanding of what spiritual goals actually are.
Here is a list of spiritual goals:
* Path of Devotion: If your goal is peace of mind, then the path of devotion is for you.
* Path of Tantra: If your goal is to be able to fulfill any kind of desire or attain powers from parallel realms, then the path of Tantra is for you.
* Path of Kundalini: If your goal is to activate your dormant life-force energy, which is the root cause behind your life experiences, then the path of Kundalini is for you.
* Path of Yog: If you want to increase your awareness—commonly known as mindfulness—then the path of Yog is for you. Note that this is not the modern path of yoga, but Yog, where you practice different types of meditation, such as concentrating on objects, thoughts, etc.
* Path of Knowledge: If your goal is to achieve spiritual enlightenment through a direct path as fast as possible, without intermediate steps, and you are interested in spiritual knowledge, then the path of knowledge is for you. This path is the fastest way to reach oneness.
So, these are some of the major goals: oneness, powers, mindfulness, devotion, etc.
Choose the one wisely that suits you. Based on that, you can now easily select your path. To those who choose the path of knowledge, I always say that you have to do nothing except become what you already are. All the essential knowledge related to this has already been provided by me on this platform. Read every topic and understand it deeply. In the path of knowledge, knowledge itself is your goal. After achieving the knowledge of oneness, you are freed from this path. If you still wish to continue along it, you can contribute by passing this very same knowledge on to others.
