Sky withdrew to darkness in shooting fire
Sparks of light brightened my eyes,
all seemed incredibly beautiful
I watched the fierceness in blank stare
Living things running in unspeakable fear
Women cradled their babies in pain,
some with men hovering behind
I felt puzzled as mind and soul tried to adhere
Hugging tight, those two, in checkered shirt
Lovebirds fiddling in each other’s arms,
aching in comfort of sexual tenderness
I truthfully admired her white skirt
Many and more screams in muffled pain
Species of lovebirds panting and fleeing,
seeking for shelters of forgiveness
I distantly observed them burning tan
Beauty of past world turning into void
Nothing to be left for regrets or astray,
transformed into ashes of forever peace
I floated in the air watching it destroyed
Who am I to judge what past presents
Who am I to foresee the unforeseen future,
I am the shadow of presence, ghost of past
Curious of unknown future acquaintances
Am I wrong to see such in dreams
Am I cursed to sleep through such agony,
I could be one of the blessed souls
Seeking for what truth really means
Sometimes I question how all things happened
Many moments wonder what truth will bring
Surely I believe it all begins with an end
