honest question: if you stopped clicking on recommendations, would amazon even notice or just keep going?
Discussion content
Some sometimes i usually find myself going into amazon and searching through online to buy something but often it ends up being an doom scrolling , it feels like an mall where we can find everything at one place without moving out the home , but i felt that while doing the doom scrolls amazon is quietly learning about me .
It knowns the books i am curious about , the brand i am interested in ,every thing was being studied , and i felt that it builds me as an shopper , the home page felt more relatable which makes me to go through it . IT excites me in some ways but also it is kinda of disturbing

Permalinkdo the recommendations usually find things you actually wanted, or do they just keep pulling you deeper?

Permalinkidk i get it tho. like the personalization is nice, but knowing they know you THAT precisely is weird. both true at once

There is no defined limit in the universe, since fundamental particles never stop vibrating; for them to stop, they would need to be at absolute zero, whereas the average temperature

The Unbreakable Mask
The Mask Fits Too Well I'm only thirteen— they say that's too young to know what breaking feels like. So I smile. I laugh at the right jokes, say "I'm fine" before they ask, and fold my storms into pockets no one checks. Some nights my memories knock like thunder on a house already shaking. The past still remembers my name even when I try to forget it. They call me strong. But strength isn't never crying. It's carrying invisible mountains to school every morning, finishing homework with han

The Weight of "Just"
I know how easily the word "just" can erase a wound for everyone except the one carrying it. So I learned to move through the world as gently as I wished someone had moved through mine.
