Religious superiorty: A sin in itself

We live in a world where diversity or pluralism is the existence itself. When we look around what we see is diversity. No two things are exactly same except respective species and even within that no two beings are 100% same.

It is scientifically proven that all human beings are 99.9% same at dna level and only 0.1% difference is the reason why we don't look clones of each other. I mean our biological systems are same across the globe. We all use nose to breathe and eyes to see.

Religion is supposed to be a phenomenon developed to guide human beings to be connected to their higher self and God and not to invoke superiorty among certain groups and considering others as followers of evil. Religion by default should not be used to “other” people based on personal beliefs or preferences. God did not made the world and created all beings so that some can label themselves as “chosen ones” as an excuse to establish heirarchy in the world and treating people they don't align with as inhuman creatures or barbarians to whom they can treat however they wish in the name of religion “superiority” to justify their own barbarism.

We all look different, speak different languages, practice different religions, some are even non religious, our cultures, foods, clothes are different and yet all of us are alive and healthy. So, if we all exist differently and still stay alive and healthy then how can one claim that the “others” are not living how their supposed “God” wanted humans to exist? Why are we contaminating human intentions with the existence of life that naturally is supposed to just be without anyone's claim to know the right way and trying to enforce it upon others.

And even if there's a supposed “rigid” way of existing as God has told about it to the “chosen ones” then it should be them living by those rigid beliefs and not forcing or convincing others to follow the same practices as them or else they and person rejecting their advances of religious enforcement would end up in hell.

It's like saying an artist is jealous of it's own art and destroys the art just cuz how dare the art stood out more than the artist or how the art became it's own independent identity without artist’s name attached to it. If your “God” has to be jealous and aggressive towards “non-believers” then you probably don't know what God actually means.

Just like people don't expect a dog to become cat or for deer to act like a lion, the same way, our individual beliefs or religious practices shouldn't be expected by everyone to follow and be upset about it if they don't. If your religion is insecure of differences (which is the existence itself) then maybe reconsider it. A religion is not meant to invoke violence or hatred but a sense of groundedness in your existence so that you live in tune with nature or universe itself.

Call someone's faith insecure and they hold it tighter. Everyone I know who softened had somebody be kind to them first.

The artist destroying his own art for standing out stayed with me most. Another essay, "Atheist and Theist why both are delusionals?", argues nobody should claim to know the one right way.

I agree with where you land, but the DNA point does less work than it seems. People who call others barbarians know we all breathe with the same nose. Where I grew up, three faiths shared one building and still argued about whose festival was louder. The peace held because nobody asked the others to pray their way.
