A post is an invitation. Here's how to write one that people want to answer.
Say the thing
Open the composer and write what you actually think. Not a summary of the debate, but your position, your question, or the piece of writing you have been sitting on. A paragraph is a post.
Give it a title someone can answer
The title matters most. "Thoughts on remote work?" invites nothing. "Remote work made me worse at my job" invites everyone. Point at something: a title that takes a position gets answered, a vague one gets passed over.
Choose where it lives
By default your post is public and anyone can find it. You can also put it in groups you belong to, more than one if you like. A public post stays public in any group. Choose Group-only post and only members of those groups can read it.
Publish
You get a notification the moment someone answers, and the conversation shows up in My posts.
After you publish
You can edit a post at any time. Deleting it also removes its conversation.
