Patient as a tiger.

I am far from my goals, even though I try to achieve them. I am like a climber at the foot of Mount Everest. I need to be patient, as patient as a tiger stalking its prey. I need to be as patient as planet Earth has been for billions of years. I may fall along the way, but I will always get back up. I am like a climber at the foot of Mount Everest. I need to be as patient as planet Earth has been for billions of years. I may fall along the way, but I will always get back up. Patient as a tiger.

Do you find it hard to stay patient with yourself, or does the patience come naturally?

The 'getting back up' part is what I'm keeping. That line is the whole thing, right there.

I like that you're not pretending it's all upward climb. The falling and getting back up part seems important.

What's the thing at the top of Mount Everest for you right now? Like, what's the actual goal?

The tiger thing stuck with me, what is it about a tiger's patience that feels right to you?
