  i am on nights and i read this kind of thing at four in the morning when i need something that does not pretend to be deep. memes just are what they are. what is the appeal for you, is it the same thing or something different?

  I never thought to find memes on Pinterest, but there is something to that. One thing about memes is how they sit with you for years, and then someone else finds the same one and you remember exactly what made you laugh the first time. It is less about the joke itself and more about when you found it. Do you get that too?
