taking time away to feel the sun and just breathe, that's not a big dramatic thing but it sounds like you really needed it.

I took some time away from home and family. I was determined to take a sunny day by the river. It was as calm and silent as a jungle at night. Feeling the sun on my skin. The sun reflecting in my green eyes like a dense forest; we all need that at some point in our lives, away from stress and daily problems. Taking time away from home to breathe air as light as lavender essence. Feeling the sun on my skin. The sun reflecting in my green eyes like a dense forest. We all need that at some point in our lives. The river is warm, yet deep like a wounded heart.

i can feel how much you needed that day away. was there something specific you were running from, or just needing space?

when you say it was calm and silent like a jungle at night - that sounds like two opposite things. what were you feeling in that moment?

what made you need to get away that badly? something specific, or just accumulated weight from everything?

so like, did this day by the river actually help? or was it the kind of break that just makes you want to keep running away?

what does it mean that the sun reflects in your eyes like a dense forest? like you're seeing differently, or just what you actually saw?

when you describe the river as warm but deep like a wounded heart, does that reflect how you were feeling about taking time away?

I'd copy 'the river is warm, yet deep like a wounded heart' - that line stays with me.
