I thought I will not try Muse at all

I use AI agents at work every day. Triaging tickets, summarizing long threads, that kind of stuff. It's just part of the job now.

But at home? No interest. Work tools stay at work. I already had ChatGPT for random questions, and I thought Muse was just another one of those. Another chatbot with better marketing.

Then I saw someone use it to book a flight and save moneys and sell things on Facebook Marketplace. Writing the listing, replying to buyers, everything.

So I gave it a try. I started with two things: i asked it checks flight and hotel prices for me every weeks and sell my drum set on Marketplace while I only need to upload a picture. None of it is hard. That's the point. It's all the small tedious stuff I kept putting off for weeks. The boring middle part between "I should do this" and "done."

I'm not saying it's perfect. Amazon blocked it from shopping on their site. And there are real security problems with agents that browse the web — smart people keep finding ways to trick them. The super-agent from the ads isn't fully real yet. Maybe that's fine.

What I like is that it has limits. It asks me before buying anything. It can't see my passwords. It does the boring parts and I make the actual decisions.

I was wrong about what it was. Not another chatbot. Not magic either. Just a helper with boundaries. Turns out that's what I needed, at work and at home.

What's on your to-do list right now that you'd hand off if you could?
