Though I have waited long before.
The road is quiet, the night is deep,
Yet hope is something I still keep.
I may wait for one more dawn,
For the darkness to be gone.
I may wait for skies to clear,
For the dreams I hold so dear.
Maybe today is not my day,
Maybe time has its own way.
What feels distant, what feels slow,
May be closer than I know.
So I will wait, but not in fear,
For every moment brings me near.
I will keep walking, step by step,
With faith alive and courage kept.
And if the journey takes some more,
I won't give up at the door.
For sometimes patience wins the fight—
And turns a little wait into something bright.
So let the clock move, let days pass,
Let every storm move from my path.
