Sometimes I look at a website and think this looks good, modern and responsive, but when I look at the sales figures they are not that impressive.

And it is more common than you think. A good design might impress people visually, but it doesn't mean a high conversion rate. Most underperforming websites look great on the surface, but they fail at the fundamentals beneath it: slow page loads, vague messaging, confusing navigation, or a complete lack of clear calls to action.

If visitors visit your site and can't immediately understand what problem you solve they just leave.

For fixing it we need to focus on the website's architecture, mobile optimization and overall user experience rather than just focusing on the aesthetic part of the site.

Working with a dedicated web development company in India can help in resolving these problems to some extent.

So for those of you running a website or planning to redesign, what matters most, how the website looks or how it performs and also what’s the biggest bottleneck? Is it getting the traffic in the first place, or getting those visitors to actually convert?
