Early Life and Academic Foundation
Born in 2009 to Yedukondal Nalliboyina and Subbulakshmi Nalliboyina, Shiva’s journey began in Chintalapudi. Growing up under the guidance of his parents, he learned the values of hard work and community responsibility early on. He completed his schooling at a local government high school in Chintalapudi, where experiencing the grassroots reality of the public education system firsthand deeply influenced his perspective on authority and student rights. He went on to pursue his intermediate education at Vidhya Bharati Junior College in Sathupally, a formative period that strengthened his resolve to speak out against injustice.
The Spark: A Call for Accountability
Shiva’s entry into activism and journalism was sparked by the widespread issues he observed in the education system, particularly how some teachers used guilt tactics and undue pressure on students rather than fostering a supportive learning environment. Witnessing this institutional pressure motivated him to take action. He realized the critical need to expose these realities to the public, leading him to join Rayabari as a reporter to demand accountability and question flawed policies.
His natural leadership qualities quickly brought him to the forefront of student politics, where he now serves as the Vice President of the Progressive Democratic Students Union (PDSU) in Chintalapudi, fighting for student welfare and progressive educational reforms.
Grassroots Action and Community Support
Shiva believes that true leadership is defined by direct action. Guided by the supportive foundation laid by his family, he has consistently stepped up to serve his community through practical initiatives. This includes organizing distribution drives to provide refreshing buttermilk during the harsh summer months and supplying essential notebooks and educational materials to children from underprivileged backgrounds.
Founder of the JF Foundation: A Grand Vision for the Future
To scale his impact and build a lasting legacy, Shiva established the JF Foundation. Founded as a deeply personal tribute to honor the memory of his late mardhal (sister-in-law), Jessica Flavia, the foundation focuses on three core pillars for the poor: Quality Education, Healthcare, and Safety.
Shiva’s ultimate vision for the JF Foundation is highly ambitious:
