I’m still here,
even when the world seems rusted around me.
In this dark room, I measure time by one cigarette after another,
as though smoke were the only clock still brave enough to keep ticking.
I am lonely, yes — but I’ve learned to laugh while walking through the danger zone.
And if life wants to see me fall, it will have to wait: I’m still here.
