Blue Brazil, Red Ceará

By the colors that the sky of my homeland embraces
Paints with pastel tones the stars that reflect
Planning a crowded bench, I tell them to wait
Purposing the government to build an ark

And whoever does not go along, will look up and see
Foreign colors impoverishing the beautiful beach
A thing that does nothing to open your mouth and say
If at the round table, they’ve already chosen the next centipede

They painted Brazil Navy Blue, and I cried
For the coming years without seeing the rainbow
Mainly if, he who was elected king
Plans to destroy the existence of chalks

My Ceará chose to wear Red
And beautiful as it is now, it will not leave
The people smile idly, fearing that the old man
Might lose the race on the other side

The days pass and the anguish does not go away
I run to the altar to ask for my antidote
He is a holy man who will not
Usurp the paints of the beautiful Sun

At least I know that the future operates
Following the laws of my creator
And from his mother, no one takes, my voter
The title of queen that our Father had given

Crying over a map turning navy blue is the most relatable election night thing I've read here. Do you have more about Ceará and the red?
