AT OUR FINGERTIPS

We are in the middle of something huge happening. All around the World, technology has progressed to lengths almost unimaginable by mankind. Artificial Intelligence is here. Algorithms now can predict what we are going to say or write next. It can calculate what type of content a particular user likes watching the most. Everything gets decoded in terms of Facts, Mathematics, Language and Code. But almost everywhere we see posts which say that us Human Beings are becoming isolated and jobless. Millions of people are losing their jobs. Where are we supposed to go and what are we supposed to do with our time. Also, we are bombarded with advertisements all the time. In every free platform we have to watch advertisements. People are getting confused. Everyone wants the same things and everyone is running from the word go. Still, we are depressed, we are not getting our worth or the attention that we deserve. What is the way out? Well, I have tried a few things on my own and I can say that it has worked. I don’t like a 9-to-5 job because of the hectic work schedule and I prefer to do Freelancing. All over the World, more and more people are becoming freelancers. We need to pick up a skill and become an expert or close to an expert at it by devoting all our time and effort. Then we need to monetize that skill. It’s as simple as that, although its easier said than done. Due to more Internet browsing, our attention span has decreased and everyone is finding it difficult to concentrate for a long period of time. Therefore, I think we have to shift to watching long form videos and documentaries instead of shorts and reels. We have to take this as an everyday task and keep learning about anything and everything from the Internet. The Internet is one of the biggest Inventions of Mankind and we have to use it properly. We can allot particular time periods during the day when we watch short videos and reels but we have to set aside time for watching long form content as well. We have to stick to an overall routine customized according to our own needs and desires and it can vary from person to person. All of us have different wants, desires, ambitions and targets and we have to adjust according to our goals in life. We have to study. The World is at our fingertips. We have all the resources in the World. Sitting home and just using a Computer and Internet we can learn so much if we are keen enough. There is no limit to the amount of knowledge that we can gather and by doing this we can become experts in different fields and subjects and by means of popular interaction we can spread awareness and knowledge about different issues. Money will come once we are good at providing a particular service and for that we need to train ourselves. We can do full time or part time work according to our needs and we can adjust our spendings with respect to our earnings. In this way we can adjust to a World which is technology driven. With the proper skill and knowledge, we can make new inventions which helps to drive mankind forward. The Sky is the Limit. But we have to get started. But how do we reduce the time we spend on watching content on the Internet. For that we have to be careful while browsing. We can keep the volume off and check out captions and watch videos which interest us at a particular time instead of just browsing mindlessly. We have to understand this that all the time marketing teams are trying to capture our attention and make us buy things instantly. So, we really have to monitor which way our preferences are going. Attention is the Currency. Whenever we open our phones, different videos and captions try to capture our attention, the fastest way possible. Keeping these things in mind we have to browse carefully. I think that is the way that we can use the Internet mindfully and satisfy our ventures. Time management and priority should be the key points while setting our tasks throughout the day. We can also make a list of activities that we need to do in order to better ourselves every day and all of this has to be coupled with proper physical exercise daily. In order to meet all our objectives and deadlines we have to be ready to handle stress, tension and pressure and for that we need physical and mental toughness which can only be attained by regular practise.
