I like the lake,
And I like to bake;
Always I go fishing and fishing rods I take,
And I always make a cake.

I can flip a can,
My skin is getting tan;
I like that man,
because I am his fan.

Every time I see a leech,
It just make me itch,
I just like Bond
because by him I am fond.

Mother to the father always complained,
A lot I played;
Then I explained,
that he is being flayed.

    I kind of see why your parents were frustrated? But also like, maybe having hobbies is actually the whole point. Idk, the poem makes a case for it.

    I keep coming back to the line about your parents complaining. The way you defend yourself after that feels so honest.

    Do the repeated stanzas mean something about returning to the same hobbies? I'm curious what drew you to that structure.
