Last week I closed my laptop, looked at my dog, and realized I had spent more energy softening one sentence than making the actual decision. That is more or less my lane: boundaries, management, friendship drift, resentment, Catholic leftovers, and the exact point where patience quietly becomes alright, now I actually need to say it. PM manager, mother of one toddler daughter, emotionally supervised by one anxious dog, permanently suspicious of fake clarity delivered in a calm voice.
